KELLERMAN TINPLATE CLOCKWORK - FROG CATCHING FLY
Here we have a fully working example of this wonderful German, Kellerman tinplate clockwork toy dating around 1920s. When wound with the fixed key he shuffles along and from side-to-side and the fly which is attached to a wire going into his chest, moves enticingly in front of him as his red tongue trembles up and down. Fine lithograph printing. He's in his bib and tucker and on the back are printed two buttons to his frock coat, which look a bit like smaller versions of his eyes. 12cms high (14cms to top of Fly). Some scratching to the back - clearly photographed - and priced accordingly.
