WHAT DOES THE PLANCHETTE SAY? JAQUES CIRCA 1910

This is only the second boxed Planchette I've ever had. The other was called the Mysterious Planchette. This one is by Jaques, the famous English games makers from around 1910 and is called "What does the Planchette Say?" Sometimes referred to as a ouija board, the planchette is a polished shaped piece of wood on three wheels and with a hole for a pencil to be pushed through at the level of the wheels. When the hands of the people attending are placed on the wood the spirit in the room is said to guide the planchette to spell/write out words which may have some significance to those attending. This is an excellent example, not only having the original Jaques pencil, but also the original rule book which has some interesting advertising for other Jaques products.
