VINTAGE 1950's WINKLE'S WEDDING PARTY GAME by H P Gibson
Winkle's Wedding by H P Gibson of England was originally produced in the 1920s. It was one of many party games to provide amusement and if for 2 players upwards.
This version was produce in the late 1940s/early 1950s.
It uses the simple idea of supplying all the players with random cards which contain a selection of words. One player then reads the story of 'Winkle's Wedding', which contains a number of blanks where words should be. Each time a blank comes up, the next player must say the word on their card, which is ridiculous, thus causing merriment!
A nice example of the game. Box, cards and instruction booklet in good condition with no creases to cards.
