SELECTION OF PEPYS CARD GAMES 1940s-1960s - SNAP, HAPPY FAMILIES, ROBIN HOOD, DISNEY CHARACTERS ETC
Six card games produced by Pepys (trade name of Castell Brothers). The photographs show the front and back of six of these card games ( I have many others in stock of Pepys and other manufacturers so please enquire). All are complete and with their original rule books The earliest in this group is SHUFFLED SYMPHONIES Produced in the 1940s from the original Disney illustrations, featuring Mickey Mouse. PETER AND THE WOLF was produced in 1947 based on the Disney film WOODLAND HAPPY FAMILIES : WOODLAND SNAP: Earliest version with the white rule book with three mice on the front Produced late 1940s/early 1950s these Woodland-themed games are great favourites and based on the books b Racey Helps, the illustrations of which are used for the games. ROBIN HOOD was taken from the popular television series in the 1950s ROUND THE WORLD with Concorde on the front is the Second Edition, the First having the unfortunate Comet and dates from the late 1960s. Prices dependent on rarity, box condition, card and rule book condition etc. If box condition not important I sometimes have duplicates of some of the games where the box is in less good condition, or sometimes not present at all.
