STRIPTEASE - VINTAGE CARD GAME, 1940s.

£40
(ID: 10724)

STRIPTEASE card game was made in the 1930s/40s. No maker's name. A game of chance based on Prosecution and Defence.

The cards contain four suits: Striptease, Threatre, Court and Prudie which is based on a whist-style trick-taking game. One has to avoid taking tricks that have cards of the Striptease suit in them.

Obviously the law seems to have taken a dislike to the striptease establishments and so we have all the theatre characters - as well as the "artiste" herself, involved with their defence team (the Defence Solicitor looks sharp!) involved in their battle with the law (police, barristers, judge) with the good old general public, involving the following characters: Miss Prim, Sour-Puss, Informer, Wowser, Snark, Kill-Joy etc. Fancy taking the stand against that lot?

52 playing cards and one Joker plus original rule book. For three - Five players.

Box in Good condition with all flaps in tact. Cards also in good condition with no creases. Original rule book has some creasing and central staple missing, but all present and correct.
