VINTAGE CAMELOT BOARD GAME 1930s
First published as 'Chivalry', by George S. Parker in 1888, it was scaled down, in 1930 and re-named Camelot . Minor rules changes were implemented in 1931.
A strategy war-like game similar to chess and Halma, the object of Camelot is simple: move two pieces into your opponent's goal or eliminate all of your opponent's pieces. It is quick and easy to learn the moves; the Jump, the Capture and the Power Play. The rest is up to you. Make your moves courageously or cautiously and always be on guard. One move can quickly change the entire complexion of the game.
