RICORDINI METAL EGG-LAYING HEN- GOLDEN EGG
Miniature (1" high) painted metal Hens with articulated wings and legs. No, they don't walk!
Inside each chicken are three eggs. To get the chicken to lay the eggs, the head is held between the thumb and forefinger and pressed down which moves the feet and legs into the body. This up and down movement is made until eggs begin to drop out, one, by one. Two white and yes, one golden. Forget the Goose, it's the Hen that lays the golden egg in this scenario.
To reload, (see picture of upside down chucks), hold head allowing the wings to move freely, push feet and leg down, thus opening up the hole and pop the eggs back in, one by one.
Available in brown or black. A delightful frivolity causing innocent amusement - an old-fashioned concept I know, but none-the-less effective.
£35 a pair instead of £38
