CORNER - VINTAGE CARD GAME Circa1930. SIMILAR TO THE GAME OF PIT - DEALING IN COMMODITIES
The game can be played with any number of people from three to six. Accordingly a corresponding number of lines of merchandise must be left in the pack, i.e. if three players, then Wool, Sheep and Wine wold be left in; if four then Wool, Sheep, Wine and Lead be left in. If six persons are playing the the CORNER KING and BROKER cards (see images) must always be left in.. There is a time limit of only one minute for a person to examine their cards and settle upon the commodity they wish to acquire by disposing of other assets etc.
Loud and distant calls of "Exchange Two", or Exchange Three!" etc must be declared. So a game of brain and braun - much like life!
A full pack of 56 cards with the original rule book. No indication of manufacturer or even country of manufacture, but most certainly British.
Fun at Christmas or high days and holidays.
